Conference Tracks

  • Education is Cool -  Today, many young males are enamored by the glamour of the music and sports industries. The reality is that many young males will end up in careers other than music and sports. With the assistance of area professionals, this track allows the attendees to interact directly with professionals from fields such as Healthcare, Law, Public Safety, Education and Engineering. Through small groups, attendees will learn about different professions and exchange in dialogue with our professionals.
  • Money Matters - Like reading and math, financial education is equally important in today’s society. For many youths at home and in school, constructive conversations about money matters to give kids a solid foundation for financial well being are lacking. Through our partner Operation Hope, this track will provide basic financial tools our young males need to take control of their financial futures. Teaching our kids to be financially savvy is a gift – one that will keep on giving throughout the course of their lives.
  • Head of the Class - Being the “A” student or studying hard has for a long time had a negative connotation to it with our youth.  Here we will show attendees that getting good grades is cool and that learning is not as bad as some of your peers or society tends to depict.  Education=Success.  You can not have one without the other.

  • Steps to Success (14-17 age group) - This track will provide attendees with key factors to be successful students in the classroom.
  • Health & Fitness - Over the past three decades, childhood obesity rates in America have tripled, and today nearly one in three children in America are overweight or obese. Obesity is connected to problems such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, sleep apnea and social discrimination. Today more than ever it is imperative that youth have basic fitness and nutritional tools for a healthy future. This session will provide attendees basic fitness and nutritional tools to live healthier lifestyles.
